CapTool turns ordinary plastic beverage bottles into useful tools. The base object is already in your bag, your car, your campsite. We sell the cap that makes the top of that bottle do real work.

Why the bottle.

About one million plastic drinking bottles are purchased every minute worldwide. Most of them are designed for one job, then discarded. We didn’t want to add another bottle to the pile. We wanted to make the existing one more useful.

Built as a system.

CapTool isn’t a single product. It’s a family of utility caps that all fit the same common 28mm beverage bottles. Rinse for the beach and the dog walk. Drip for the houseplants while you’re away. Pour for the campsite, the garage, and the emergency kit. One pouch, three jobs, the bottle in your bag.

Honest about what it is.

The cap fits many common plastic beverage bottles. It does not fit every bottle ever made. We publish a tested compatibility list and update it as new bottles are added. We don’t use the word “universal” because bottle finishes vary by brand and we’d rather earn trust than chase a marketing claim.

Honest about what it isn’t.

CapTool reuses bottles already in circulation. It does not solve plastic waste. We won’t pretend otherwise on a label or in an ad.

Made for the way people actually live.

The product was designed around the moments when you wished you had a hose, a watering can, or a controlled pour and didn’t. Sandy feet at the beach. Muddy paws after the trail. A houseplant that needs slow water. A campsite with no sink. The bottle is already there. The cap makes it useful.
